Premier Music International Competition
The 2027 (7th annual) edition will be back in the Spring.
PMIC is an online international youth music competition held annually for music students (studying in music schools and/or with private teachers) and music enthusiasts of all levels.
We created this music competition specifically for young talents to be able to showcase their musical abilities to the world.

We invite applicants until 21 years of age to participate in this friendly, transparent, fair and prestigious competition - candidates are categorised based on age/experience, instrument groups and genre.
This music competition is open to all traditional orchestral and jazz instruments - strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass), plucked instruments (harp, guitar), keyboard (piano, organ, harpsichord), percussion (both melodic and rhythmic, drum kit/set), woodwinds (flute, oboe, saxophone, clarinet, cor Anglais, bassoon, recorder), brass (trumpet, French horn, trombone) and voice - and genres from classical music to jazz and pop/rock.
In addition, there is also a songwriting/composition, and a chamber music/band category as well!
PMIC is a completely self-funded and independent venture created without any national or international organisations or actors.
This is a forward-thinking competition that provides valuable insight through detailed written feedback from the jury panel. Each judge makes their final decisions remotely and independently without input from anyone else. We are also proud to enforce a uniquely strict rule that none of the judges' students may enter!

Prizes:
* Everyone receives valuable written detailed feedback on their performances from the judges as well as certificates.
* A few selected winners in multiple categories, but especially songwriting/composition, are chosen for whom free audio mixing/mastering is provided courtesy of dBMastering, with free publishing on streaming platforms if required!
* Selected winners will be interviewed and shared on this page's blog and on PMIC social media.
* Winners with the overall highest points will be invited to Budapest, Hungary for a (free) live concert in 2028!
